Two months ago, March 3, we visited Beaufort, South Carolina for a week of fun with our friends from Maine. We were saddened to discover that the "boneyard" of driftwood and trees at Hunting Island State Park had been bulldozed off the beach near the lighthouse. But we did find an area near the Nature Center. This is one of the many photos that I took that emphasized the patterns of raindrops on the sand. There is simplicity here when we live in chaos and complexity.
